If accepted, SLI provides the renter or any additional authorized driver as listed in the Rental Agreement, with automobile liability coverage against third party claims for bodily injury, including death, and property damage resulting from an automobile accident in the DOLLAR vehicle, during the rental period, in excess of the coverages provided under the Rental Agreement up to a maximum protection of $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence. SLI does not provided coverage for uninsured and underinsured motorist protection.At the time of rental, please refer to the brochure summarizing SLI. Both this summary and the information contained in the brochure are summaries only of SLI. IMPORTANT:
All car rental companies renting to customers at the Miami International Airport or coming from the Miami International Airport must collect from the customer and remit to the Airport, a Customer Facility Fee (CFC) of $3.25 per transaction day beginning May 1st 2004. The revenues from the fee will be used to finance the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CRCF) scheduled to open March 2006. The CFC will increase to $4 per day when car rental operations begin at the CRCF, March 2006 and will then increase another $.25 per day every 5th year.
Please be advised that effective September 1, 2007, the Costumer Facility Charge will increase in Miami from $3.50 per day to $4 per day.
Concession Facility Charge (CFC) at Fort Lauderdale Airport: $3.95 (per day)
Please communicate to all your accounts that this charge is mandated by the Miami Airport and it will not be included in one of our rate plan.
Starting on September 2008, the Orlando International Airport (MCO), will require that All car rental companies collect a Customer Facility Charge from all its customers. This charges is similar to the one currently charged by the FLL & MIA Airports. The MCO Customer Facility Chare will be 2.50 per day up to 12.50 per rental.
The SUPER INCLUSIVE Rate (USVIL) DOES NOT include the Concession Facility Charge - CFC - Customers will be asked to pay for this fee at time of rental.
